Regulations of the Project

“Education Without Borders for Medical Programmes at UJK”

Implemented under the SPINAKER – Intensive International Education Programmes (NAWA 2024)
financed from the European Social Development Funds 2021–2027 (FERS)

§1. Glossary of terms

  • Project – the project “Education Without Borders for Medical Programmes at UJK”, agreement number BPI/SPI/2024/100021/U/00001, implemented under the SPINAKER programme.
  • University – Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (UJK), the Beneficiary of the Project.
  • Project Participant – students, PhD candidates and representatives of academic staff from abroad participating in IIEPs.
  • IIEP – Intensive International Education Programme implemented under the Project.

§2. General provisions

These Regulations define the objectives and assumptions of the Project, recruitment rules and the rights and obligations of Project Participants.

  • NAWA SPINAKER programme documentation,
  • internal normative acts of the Project Implementer,
  • applicable law, in particular:
    • Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science,
    • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

The organiser and entity responsible for recruitment and implementation is Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Collegium Medicum, al. IX Wieków Kielc 19a, 25-317 Kielce.

Participation in the Project is free of charge and financed from EU funds (FERS).

All IIEPs are conducted in English.

The Project implementation period: 1 June 2025 – 31 July 2026.


§3. Objectives and assumptions of the Project

The objective of the Project is to develop and implement IIEPs expanding the international educational offer of UJK Medical College.

The Project supports internationalisation, academic mobility and development of teaching and research competences.

Target groups:

  • students – 28 persons,
  • PhD candidates – 4 persons,
  • academic staff – 38 persons.

Five IIEPs are implemented, including:

  • Insertion of a short peripheral cannula under ultrasound guidance,
  • Medical Emergency Procedures,
  • The importance of physiological spinal extension – from birth to adulthood,
  • Summer School of Dermatology and Allergology,
  • Research Methodology and Biostatistics.

§4. Project personnel

  • Project Manager,
  • Specialist for International Programmes,
  • IIEP Coordinators,
  • IIEP Lecturers / Instructors,
  • Simulation Technicians,
  • IT Specialist,
  • Specialist for Language Proofreading,
  • Specialist for Monitoring Indicators and Evaluation.

§5. Recruitment rules

Recruitment is conducted electronically via the UJK recruitment system.

Candidates submit applications together with required documents.

Detailed eligibility criteria for each IIEP are defined separately in §7–§11 of these Regulations.

§6. Rules of provision of support

Participation in IIEPs is free of charge.

Each participant may take part in only one IIEP during the Project.

Learning outcomes are verified using tests, practical observation, OSCE or course projects.


§7. Rights and obligations of Project Participants

Participants are obliged to:

  • accept these Regulations,
  • create an account in NAWA ICT system,
  • participate in evaluation and reporting procedures,
  • comply with academic and ethical standards.

§8. Personal data

The controller of personal data is Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

Data are processed for recruitment, implementation and settlement of the SPINAKER Project.


§9. Final provisions

The University reserves the right to amend these Regulations.

Regulations are published on the Project website and available at the Project Office.
