Project “Education Without Borders for Medical Programmes at UJK”
§1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, ul. Żeromskiego 5, 25-369 Kielce, Poland, e-mail: kancelaria@ujk.edu.pl .
The University has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who can be contacted at: iod@ujk.edu.pl .
§2. Scope of collected data
The website processes personal data provided voluntarily by users, in particular through registration forms, recruitment questionnaires, training application forms and document uploads.
The scope of processed data may include, in particular: identification data, contact details, education and employment information, social status data, recruitment documents and other data required for participation in the Project.
§3. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
Personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- conducting the recruitment process for the Project “Education Without Borders for Medical Programmes at UJK”,
- implementation, monitoring and settlement of the Project,
- fulfilment of reporting obligations towards financing institutions, in particular the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA),
- implementation of tasks carried out in the public interest within the framework of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS).
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is:
- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation,
- Article 6(1)(e) GDPR – performance of a task carried out in the public interest,
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent of the data subject, with regard to optional data.
§4. Data recipients
Personal data may be disclosed to entities authorised under applicable law as well as to entities processing personal data on behalf of the controller, in connection with the performance of entrusted tasks, on the basis of data processing agreements.
§5. Data retention period
Personal data will be stored for the duration of the Project implementation and settlement, as well as for the period required by applicable law and guidelines of financing institutions.
§6. Rights of data subjects
Data subjects have the right to:
- access their personal data and obtain a copy thereof,
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data,
- erase personal data or restrict processing, where processing is not required by law,
- data portability and objection to processing, in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR,
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
A complaint may be lodged with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) if it is believed that personal data are processed unlawfully.
§7. Cookies
The website may use cookies to ensure proper functioning, improve usability and collect anonymous statistical data.
Users may manage cookie settings through their web browser.
§8. Final provisions
The University reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. Changes take effect upon publication on the Project website.
